At the end of the month, Councilmember Justin Brannan will host a street safety Town Hall with DOT Commissioner Polly Trottenberg, representatives from the NYPD, Representative Max Rose, State Senator Andrew Gounardes, and Assemblymember Mathylde Frontus.
It’s on March 27 and it starts at 6:30pm!! That’s an early start time! But it will still be helpful for you to turn out!
Protected bike lanes are effective at reducing crashes and injuries to pedestrians, cyclists and drivers. Let’s take advantage of this event with several of our elected officials and the head of DOT to demand a network of protected bike lanes in southern Brooklyn that connect to the rest of the borough and city.
