Monthly bike rides, April through October

You like to ride bikes. We like to ride bikes. Your southern Brooklyn neighbors — at least the fun ones — they like to ride bikes, too.

So let’s all ride bikes together!

Fourth Saturday of every month

Every month from April through October, on the fourth Saturday, we’re organizing a social group bike ride through southern Brooklyn at a chill pace to fun places.

The series so far

  • April 25 — Ride to Shirley Chisholm State Park
    • Starts in Bay Ridge, picks up riders in Bath Beach and Sheepshead Bay
    • 15 miles each way plus 10 miles of bike paths at the park (mix of asphalt and gravel)

  • May 23 — Ride to Red Hook
    • Starts in Marine Park, picks up riders in Bath Beach and Bay Ridge

RSVPs aren’t required, but they are highly encouraged — it helps us know how many people to expect, and also helps us communicate any important info to you (i.e. if we have to switch to a rain date, helpful bathroom info, etc).

If necessary, the rain date for each ride will be the following day (Sunday).

The August ride may be on the third Saturday, and may not have an associated rain date.
